This coming weekend I will be a guest at Armadillocon 36, in charming Austin, Texas. If you happen to be deep in the heart of Texas this weekend, come by. Here's what I'll be doing.
Friday, July 25
4-5 p.m.: Cool Locations Which Haven't Been Used — A panel discussion; the title pretty much says it all.
9-10 p.m.: Reading — I'll probably be reading from A Darkling Sea, but I may toss in a few teasers from Corsair.
10-11 p.m.: Jules Verne's Errors — Another panel, this time about places Père of Science Fiction got it wrong.
Saturday, July 26
4-5 p.m.: We Don't Need Another Hero — Panel discussion about the Alexandrian inventor Hero, and how his tinkering with steam engines could have changed the ancient world.
Sunday, July 27
Noon-1 p.m.: Autographing — Bring anything to the Dealers' Room and I'll sign it.
